Mandu - Korean Dumpling with Tofu Mushrooms and Asian Chives

I always have this stored at my refrigerator. When I said always... is't mean literally... Even now I still have 20 frozen mandu!

My son & hubby loves this korean dumpling so much, so... I always makes a lot of it when there is time for making mandu. Moreover this is another way to enjoy tofu and shitake mushrooms in a great way!
Husband and son? They don't know it until I said so! Haha ha! ;)

There's 3 kind of mandu, the fried one (Gunmandu), the steamed one ( Jjinmandu), and the boiled one (Mulmandu).
Mandu served as an appetizer, side dish or even just for snack with a dipping sauce.
For me? Well... I serve mandu in all category & at any occasion... whenever I want, it's already on the fridge anyway :)

Chicken Paprika with Cilantro

This is the first time I have a chicken paprika for lunch & just falling in love with the dish from the first bite!
When I open my refrigerator I found a bunch of cilantro which end up giving a balance for this dish.
You can also use parsley for chicken paprika but today I think I want to make something different, an asian touch on a hugarian dish - why not? ;)

Banana Bread with Walnut Coffe Crumble and Cinnamon

This is my third time posting about banana.
I think maybe to all of us who loves bread - this kind of bread is the most common and pupular one. There's lots of people making their version of banana bread, with walnut or peacan, or maybe the regular banana bread it's self...
And for me who loves to have a bread or pasta for breakfast, this version of bread is one of my favorite!

I found 2 recipe at Tamayto - cooking across culture and Over the hill and a roll  , I already try both recipe & love both of them.
But as always, we have to put some of our taste to the recipe to make the recipe more "me" ;)

Well... lets think
I always "crazy" about oats & whole grain... I loves yoghurt & "addicted" to coffe... Ok - problem solve then?! ;)

Chinese Chicken Shrimp with Vegetable Fried Meatball

Even I loves many kind of dish from other country such as japanese, vietnam, wastern, korean, italian, mexican and of course Indonesian, but as I'm a chinese, so lot's of my dish being influence with chinese flavor.
I think , meatball is a common dish for asian kitchens. Even in Indonesia lot's of stall or restaurant serve many kind of meatball or we call it Mie Bakso in Indonesia.
There lot's of variety of meatball we can make, such as with chicken, seafood, beef or maybe pork. Then we can serve it with broth as a soup, join in a spaghetti sauce or noodle or even deep fried & maybe as a satay!
