How To Make : Chicken Stock

As we know chicken stock is one of regular stock that we often use for cooking. There's lot's of stock block or any other kind of stock sell at the market now days, but the best thing to have is when we make it from scratch.

One of my friend asking me how to make a chicken stock, & as we see lot's of people "afraid" to make a homemade chicken stock because the cooking process often takes times.
My tips is :
1. try to make a stock first while we prepare the ingredients for the dish that we plan to make that day. So when our dishes is ready to cook, our stock is ready as well.
2. Makes stock for 2-3 days, store at refrigerator.
3. Always planning the menu for 2-3 days, and try to use the same stock for 3 days menu.

That way, there no stock will be unused & saved cooking time ;)

Tekwan - Indonesia Fish Ball Soup with Prawn Vermicelli and Mushrooms

I notice that I rarely posted Indonesian Cuisine recipe since I start my blog, there's maybe a few, like Seasoned Crispy Mushrooms and  Prawn Satay with Basil sauce  but the dish is not a traditional Indonesian cuisine.
Then I remember I had Tekwan for dinner a month ago & have a chance to photograph it but haven't posting the recipe. So I decide to post the recipe today & share this delight soup with you :)

To be honest - I rarely cook a traditional Indonesia cuisine at home because most of traditional Indonesian Cuisine use coconut milk for the dish, & I try to avoid that, maybe 1 in a week still ok.
That why this delight soup makes me fall in love.
Tekwan is a fish ball soup with light srimp broth. Tekwan is traditional dish from Palembang - a capital city of South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Seasoned Crispy Fried Mushroom

Yesterday I'm too tired and lazy to make a post.
Well, I have 3 different dish to make - the ones that's takes much times & not include I'm joining my sons playing Wii...
I'm playing the Wii? Yes! I do loves games - almost all kind of it! Looks like it's "genetic".
So... me & my husband loves games, my kids, my sisters & brother, my mom? well... I don't know for that! Maybe?! Haha ha!
But I - we try to control the intensity - everything with a "addicted" on the label is not good isn't it?

It's remain me that I do have something that's makes me "addicted" - the crispy mushrooms addict!
Well... can't blame me or... us for addicting this one :D

Healthier - Garlic Bread

Everyone who loves toast bread will also loves Garlic Bread - even my 3 & 5 years old son :)
Pizza Hut is one of the restaurant that we often visit when we go out because Ferrel - my 5yr - is so "picky" about food. And the pizza hut is his favorite's because he always "crazy" about the garlic bread served there!

French bread or baguette and Italian bread often used for making garlic bread, but today I only use regular bread since only that what I have in hand - you can used any bread u like :)

This variety of toast bread already appeared in US restaurant menus since at least 1947. And always be on my kitchen table when I have a spaghetti or soup as a meal - enjoy my Healthy Green Peas Soup recipe with this garlic bread ;)
